Planting Opportunities
Utah Initiative
Converge Rocky Mountain is following the leading of God’s Spirit and heading back into Utah. The state has a 98% unchurched rate and is dominated in politics and philosophy by the LDS church. The goal is to plant five churches in a reasonably short period of time, four Anglo and one Hispanic. Loren and Carrie Pankratz are leading the charge with our first plant in Centerville, Utah. They welcome churches to bring teams out for an insightful mission’s experience. Converge Rocky Mountain has formed strategic partnerships with Vision 360 and K2 Church in Salt Lake City to make this challenging endeavor a possibility. If your church would like to partner in this project contact the Converge Rocky Mountain office.
New Mexico
CRM has had churches in New Mexico. There is a new desire to re-establish a healthy church presence in this growing region. Millions of people will be moving into the Albuquerque-Santa Fe corridor over the next twenty years. Living Waters church in Alamosa, CO is currently working in partnership with a New Mexico congregation. As God raises up planters with a passion to reach the people of New Mexico CRM will aggressively pursue the opportunities.
