Planting Opportunities: Reach Wyoming
Why Wyoming Matters
Wyoming is known for its wide-open spaces, rugged beauty, and strong, resilient people. But behind the scenic landscapes is a mission field that often goes unseen. Many communities are spread out, isolated, and underserved by gospel-centered churches. Church planting in Wyoming requires a unique blend of courage, faith, independence, and relatability.
Converge Rocky Mountain has a long history of walking alongside churches and leaders in this region. Over the years, we’ve seen how deeply God is at work in Wyoming, shaping leaders who understand their communities and are willing to serve faithfully in challenging contexts. That history continues today through the Reach Wyoming initiative.
Through Reach Wyoming, our district works intentionally to identify new church planters and potential planting locations across the state. This work is not rushed or formulaic. It’s relational, prayerful, and rooted in a desire to see churches planted where they can truly take hold and serve their communities well.
The goal is simple but far-reaching: to see churches planted so that one day, every person in Wyoming has access to a local church where they can encounter Jesus, grow in their faith, and be challenged to love both Jesus and the people He loves. In a state defined by distance and independence, the presence of healthy, local churches matters deeply.
Giving to the Reach Wyoming initiative helps make this vision possible. Your generosity provides the resources needed to support church planters, establish new congregations, and sustain ministry in a region that demands perseverance and long-term commitment. Together, through prayer, partnership, and faithful support, we believe God is continuing to write a story of hope and transformation across Wyoming.
