Mission Hills Church: November 2026

November 6th, 2026

Helping People Find and Follow Jesus

What began as a small Sunday school in 1942 has grown into a church serving communities across the south Denver metro area.

Today, Mission Hills Church meets at campuses in Littleton, North Littleton, and Castle Rock. Through its Español ministry and online community, the church continues to reach even more people with the hope of Jesus.

At the heart of everything they do is a simple mission: to help people find and follow Jesus.
Mission Hills believes that a full life in Jesus begins with transformation. That transformation can look different in every life: freedom from addiction, a restored marriage, a renewed commitment to prayer, or a family learning to follow Jesus together.

Their heart is to reach the Front Range with the hope of Jesus and help people take their next step in following Him.

Meet Pastor Craig

Pastor Craig Smith has served as the Lead Pastor of Mission Hills Church for the past 10 years. His greatest passion is helping people take their next step toward becoming like Jesus and joining Him on mission in the world.

Craig loves helping people understand God's Word and see how biblical truth connects to their everyday lives. He holds a Ph.D. in New Testament from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom and has authored several academic and popular books.

Outside of ministry, Craig and his wife, Coletta, enjoy hiking, skiing, and beach vacations. Craig is also a talented woodturner and shares his wood art with a growing audience online.

Investing in the Next Generation

One of Mission Hills' greatest strengths is its commitment to reaching and discipling the next generation.

From babies and preschoolers to elementary students, middle schoolers, high schoolers, and young adults, the church is passionate about helping young people know Jesus and build a faith that lasts.

But their focus does not stop with the next generation. Mission Hills wants every person who walks through its doors to take their next step of faith. They want people to grow in their relationship with Jesus, find meaningful community, and discover how God has uniquely equipped them to make a difference.

And God is using that commitment to change lives.

Some Recent God-Sightings

The story unfolding at Mission Hills Church is filled with reminders that God is changing lives.

379 People Said Yes to Jesus

Every number represents a person with a unique story and a life being changed by the Gospel. This year alone, Mission Hills has celebrated 379 people taking that first step of faith and saying yes to Jesus.

233 Baptisms and Counting

Mission Hills has celebrated 233 baptisms this year. Each one represents someone publicly declaring their faith in Jesus and taking another step in following Him.

Nearly 1,300 Students Gathered

Recently, Mission Hills welcomed nearly 1,300 middle school students, creating opportunities for young people to hear the Gospel, build friendships, and grow in their faith.

Lives Are Being Restored

Some of the most meaningful God Sightings happen in stories that may never make headlines. Through ministries like re|engage and re|generation, Mission Hills is seeing marriages restored and people finding freedom from addiction and destructive patterns. Families are also learning what it looks like to follow Jesus together.

Together, these stories are a reminder that God is at work in individual lives, and Mission Hills has the privilege of being part of what He is doing.

How You Can Pray

Please join us in praying for Mission Hills Church:

Wisdom and strength for leadership.

Pray for Pastor Craig and the leadership team as they guide the church and prepare to share the Gospel with thousands of people during Christmas Eve services.

Clarity and boldness in reaching the Front Range.

Pray for wisdom, unity, and clear direction as Mission Hills explores new opportunities to reach more people with the hope of Jesus.

Lasting transformation.

Pray that those who encounter Jesus through Mission Hills will continue growing in their faith, finding community, and becoming people who help others find and follow Him.

Your Partnership Becomes Part of Their Story

The ministry of Mission Hills Church is not happening alone. It is strengthened through people who pray, encourage, give, and stand alongside churches across our region.

When someone says yes to Jesus or steps into the water to be baptized, partners are part of that story. When a student hears the Gospel, a marriage is restored, or someone finds freedom from addiction, partnership helps make those moments possible.

Together, we get to invest in churches that are helping people find and follow Jesus. There is still much work ahead, with people across the Front Range who need the hope of Jesus, young people to disciple, families to strengthen, and lives to see transformed.

Through the faithfulness of God and the partnership of His people, Mission Hills Church will continue helping people take their next step toward Jesus.
