Converge National

Converge is not simply an organization or a denomination. We are a movement of churches choosing to work together for something bigger than any one congregation could accomplish alone. Our shared mission is to strengthen churches and start new ones so that lives and communities are transformed by the power of the gospel.
At the heart of Converge is a commitment to multiply transformational churches. We believe this happens most effectively when churches are spiritually grounded, missionally focused, and relationally connected. The following ministry priorities guide how we pursue that mission together.

We believe it is Christ who builds His church. Because of that, everything we do begins with a desire to glorify God and depend fully on Him. We trust in the power of God’s Word, the work of His Spirit, the sufficiency of His Son, and His delight in prevailing prayer. Spiritual growth and transformation are not optional. They are foundational to healthy churches and lasting fruit.

The life of Christ is meant to be reproduced from person to person and from church to church. That conviction drives our commitment to church planting. We believe planting new congregations is one of the most effective ways to bring the gospel into new communities and people groups. Through Converge, churches work together to form multiplying movements of church planting around the world.

Healthy churches are active churches. We want to see existing congregations mobilized for mission in their own communities and beyond. One way we do this is by coaching pastors and leaders as they build healthy leadership cultures and vibrant community life. As churches pray, listen, and seek God’s direction, they are equipped to build meaningful bridges into the places they serve.

Transformational churches are led by transformational leaders. We are committed to identifying, equipping, and multiplying leaders who are called to serve Christ and His church. Through training, coaching, and relational networks, pastors and leaders are given opportunities to learn from one another and grow together. Healthy leadership fuels healthy churches.

We believe people should not only hear the gospel but experience the love of Christ in tangible ways. Compassion is an essential expression of our faith. Through a variety of initiatives, we resource churches and movements to meet real needs and respond with grace. People are never projects. They are individuals deeply loved by God.

God’s heart is for all people everywhere. Converge churches participate in global mission by sending missionaries to the nations while also engaging the diverse cultures present in their own communities. Whether across the street or across the world, we are committed to sharing the hope of Christ with those who have yet to hear.

Generosity is more than good stewardship. It reflects the generous heart of God. We seek to cultivate communities of faith marked by open hands, bold vision, and joyful giving. When generosity shapes our lives and ministries, it creates space for faith, trust, and gospel impact to grow.

These ministry priorities are not separate programs. They work together to support churches and movements of churches as we pursue God’s mission. At the center of everything we do is Christ, His cross, and the good news of the gospel. As we partner together, we trust God to continue transforming lives and communities through His church.
