The Institute for Training in Ministry (iTIM) is a church-based learning program designed to equip everyday believers for meaningful ministry. Rooted in Ephesians 4:12, iTIM exists to “prepare God’s people for the work of ministry and build up the body of Christ.” Its vision is simple: every local church can become a place where people are trained, empowered, and sent.
iTIM offers 18 workbook-style courses across five ministry tracks: Discipleship, Church Ministries, Church Leadership, Bible Teaching, and Pastoral Ministry. Each course blends strong biblical teaching with personal application and a hands-on practicum so learners can immediately put what they are learning into action.
What makes iTIM unique is its “head, heart, and hands” approach to growth. Participants gain solid content for the mind, life application for the heart, and real ministry involvement for the hands. It is not just information. It is formation.
Churches and individuals can begin with a free online iTIM seminar, a flexible two-hour introduction that can be completed in stages. After finishing the seminar, participants can access the full course library online at no cost, either individually or as a group.
